Health Technology Assessment, Research Support and Other Support Services Panel
The Commonwealth of Australia acting through the Department of Health (the Department) is responsible for better health and wellbeing for all Australians. The Department aims to achieve its vision through strengthening evidence-based policy advice, improving program management, research, regulation and partnerships with other government agencies, consumers and stakeholders.
The Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) and Sub-Committees, the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC), the Prostheses List Advisory Committee (PLAC), and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), are independent scientific committees comprising individuals with expertise in clinical medicine, epidemiology, health economics and consumer matters. Health Technology Assessment (HTA) plays an integral role in supporting the operation of the Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS), Pharmaceuticals Benefit Scheme (PBS), the National Immunisation Program, the Prosthesis List (PL) and other government programs.
The Tenderer must not have had any judicial decisions against it (excluding decisions under appeal) relating to employee entitlements and have not paid the claim.
Panel Arrangement 3 years with 2 x 12 month extension options.
