A multi-agency Deed of Standing Offer (DOSO) for Shipbuilding Services has been established with the RAND Corporation (Australia) in order to provide a broad range of strategic research, analytical and advisory services in relation to the National Naval Shipbuilding Enterprise. This DOSO represents a key component of the Australian Government's approach to delivering strategic support services to Australia’s shipbuilding and sustainment Enterprise. The intent is to have the DOSO available to any project, office or government department supporting the Enterprise wishing to engage RAND for their unique expertise and service offering. For this reason, the Deed contains broad categories of scope and options for services which allow flexibility across the Enterprise and which best reflect RAND’s unparalleled history and experience in supporting Defence activities within Australia and abroad, in addition to other wide-ranging contributions across the Australian Government.
