On 1 July 2016 the Australian Crime Commission (ACC) and the CrimTrac Agency merged to form the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC). To support the merger, interim ICT arrangements were put in place. The newly formed agency has been undergoing an infrastructure consolidation and capability upgrade over the past two years and there is now a need to consolidate, modernise and industrialise the agencies Identity and Access Management (IAM).
