1.2.2 Subject to the terms of this REOI, this REOI is the first stage of a multi-stage procurement process for Tranche 1.
The purposes of this REOI include:
(a) informing respondents of the proposed Tranche 1 activities and the information required in order to demonstrate the respondents’ capability to meet the needs of Tranche 1; and
(b) inviting respondents to submit an EOI to provide services to meet Tranche 1 requirements, so that Defence can develop a shortlist of suitably qualified parties who Defence proposes to invite to participate in Collaborative Processes for Tranche 1. These Collaborative Processes are described at paragraph 6.6.
Defence may exclude a response from further consideration if Defence considers that the respondent:
(a) does not have existing DISP Membership at a minimum of Level 2, or a demonstrated plan to achieve and maintain DISP Membership at a minimum of Level 2; or
(b) does not have existing cloud services that are certified by the DTA, or an application in progress for certification, as a “Certified Strategic Service” under the DTA’s Hosting Certification Framework.
