Northern Endeavour FPSO Disposal Request for Information

The RFI seeks industry responses to questions about the technical requirements, issues and risks associated with the Floating Production Storage and Offtake vessel (FPSO) tow, recycling and disposal activities, including:
• Towing the FPSO from operation site to recycling destination;
• Marine biosecurity management, including management of biofouling and anti fouling coating;
• Decontamination and hazardous material management, including regulatory requirements and compliance;
• Recycling and waste management; and
• Workplace health and safety management of oil and gas infrastructure.
The RFI will assist the department in determining the best options for recycling the FPSO, considering the ship recycling capabilities of potential domestic and international suppliers.
The RFI will also facilitate the department’s engagement with domestic and international industry to understand the technical requirements of key elements of the disposal to inform the scope of works for procurement. The department may seek further information or clarification from RFI respondents through one-on-one engagement.
Proposals must be submitted via AusTender prior to the RFI Closing Time.

There is no obligation to respond to this RFI. Submissions are provided on a voluntary basis in accordance with the terms of the RFI. Respondents are deemed to have accepted all conditions stated in the accompanying RFI document, including the conditions stated under section 3 and section 4.
