Catering and Cleaning (CCS1) Services
This request for tender seeks a contractor who can provided Catering and Cleaning services at the Australian Institute of Marine Science's two local Townville Facilities for a period of 3 years with options of contract extension for a further 3 years period.
The AIMSRFT757 CATERING and / or CLEANING contractor will be responsible for the following;
1. Catering Services - In summary comprise of the following;
- The daily café operations for supply, preparation of foods and labour offering AIMS staff quick service style food and beverages and made to order between 8:00am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Catering requirements can vary depending on the number of staff on site on any given day, but is typically required for between 50 – 100 people daily. Note AIMS staff have a fortnightly Stand Down days on a Monday or Friday so these days are quieter for the café.
- Event catering for anywhere between 10 to 100 people, during or outside normal working hours.
2. Cleaning Services (CCS1) - In summary comprise of the following;
- Regular and scheduled cleaning of the Cape Cleveland facility including offices, laboratories, toilets, meeting rooms, the café, dining area and four separate buildings.
- Cleaning of the on-site accommodation after each accommodation for visiting scientists and staff guest departs, the delivery of clean linen and making of beds (laundering by others). Accommodation includes 6 houses and a block of 6 motel-type units which provide working overtime during intense periods of research,
- Emergency cleaning remedy an unplanned or emergency event
- Special cleaning specifically requested by the Principal on the occasion of special events or for specific purposes.
Location of Service will be at two local Townsville facilities;
- AIMS Cape Ferguson Facility, located at 1526 Cape Cleveland Rd, Cape Cleveland, Queensland 4810.
