Geochemical analysis for HPQ project
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
High purity silica is becoming an increasingly important resource for the energy transition due to its utility in industrial and technological applications. In order to determine the prospectivity of high purity silica in Australia, we need to better understand the geochemical and metallurgical characteristics of quartz from various hard rock sources. To achieve this, inorganic geochemistry data is required. The work will require whole rock analysis, including XRF for major elements and ICP-MS analysis for trace element compositions. Some elements may require additional analyses for quantification. Potentially, a subset of sample will be selected for further analysis including mineralogy studies and in situ geochemistry
