Department of Veterans’ Affairs – Provision of Trained Psychiatric Assistance Dogs
The Department of Veterans’ Affairs has a panel of providers and is seeking to increase the number of suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide trained Psychiatric Assistance Dogs as an adjunct to treatment for Veterans with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
DVA encourages tenders from suitable organisations that have the capability to provide the specified services. Through the RFT, DVA intends to engage suitable experienced and qualified organisations from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors across Australia.

1. The Tenderer must be a non-individual legal entity, such as an incorporated company, a trust where the trustee is an incorporated entity and the trust deed provisions are acceptable to DVA, or an incorporated association, at the time of submitting a response to this RFT.
2. The tenderer must provide a Satisfactory and Valid Statement of Tax Record (STR) in accordance with Rule 36.1.
Initial term shall end on 30 April 2021. DVA has options to extend for further periods up to a total of 24 months.
