In the 2023–24 Federal Budget, the government announced it is investing $436.4 million over 4 years in a redesigned Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program. The SEE Program aims to improve access to foundation skills training, focusing on building Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) skills, for around 27,000 Australians.
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is conducting a Request for Tender to procure a Quality Assurance Provider for the SEE program. The successful Tenderer will be required to undertake an educative compliance role to ensure best practice in training and quality outcomes for SEE program participants through the provision of the following services:
- LLND Assurance Services: reviewing the SEE Providers ACSF/DLSF assessment and enrolment outcomes to ensure LLND assessments are valid and reliable.
- Assessment Services: assessing Non-Accredited Training Course Applications and the LLND elements within a SEE providers Project or Grant application.
- Professional Development Services: providing professional development workshops to SEE Providers that focus on training and assessment practices and the implementation and use of the ACSF/DLSF.
- Internal review services: conducting internal moderation and appeal reviews to ensure the QA services provided are consistent, reliable and valid.
- Research projects: conducting research on topics that are unique to the SEE Program.
- Resource Development: developing SEE program resources to support the design and delivery of Accredited and/or Non-Accredited LLND Training and the ACSF/DLSF.
