NT Indigenous Business and Employment Hub
Design, establish and deliver the NT Indigenous Business and Employment Hub. The Hub will act as a one-stop shop to connect Indigenous businesses, entrepreneurs and job seekers to business and employment advice and opportunities. The Hub will be a culturally-safe and inclusive space where Indigenous people - especially women and youth (18-25 years of age) can work, plan and strategise, meet with clients and access services, including in language using translators as appropriate. The Hub will be delivered in three stages:
Stage 1 - the Design Stage. In consultation with stakeholders, a range of operational plans will be developed that outline the design and implementation plan for the Hub.
Stage 2 - The Establishment Stage. Implementation of the agreed plans developed during Stage 1.
Stage 3 - The Delivery Stage. Operation of the Hub and roll out of its satellite offices, delivering face-to-face and on-line services.
The contract is for an intial term of four years from commencement with the option to extend for a further two times one year periods.
1. The Supplier must be a business with at least 50% Indigenous ownership.
2. The Supplier must include an Indigenous Participation Plan.
3. The Supplier must either:
i) hold a valid and satisfactory Statement of Tax Record by the closing time; or
ii) have a receipt demonstrating that a Statement of Tax Record has been requested from the Australian Taxation Office by the closing time, and holds a valid and satisfactory Statement of Tax Record no later than 4 business days from the closing time.
Stage 1 Design - within three months of commencement.
Stage 2 Establish - within six months of commencement of Stage 2.
Stage 3 Deliver - from completion of Stage 2 for an initial period of 3 years and 3 months.
