AtoN Maintenance Services-South QLD-Region 3
This ATM seeks to identify a suitably qualified contractor who can deliver the provision of Aids to Navigation (AtoN) Maintenance Services South Queensland (Region 3).
AMSA is responsible for providing an effective system of marine AtoN to the commercial shipping industry that meets the standards set by the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA).
The AtoN Network administered by AMSA consists of about 480 aids to navigation located at about 360 sites around Australia’s coastline which assist mariners to make safe and efficient passages. The AtoN (and associated equipment) comprise a variety of structures and systems across the AtoN network that are required to be maintained throughout their useful life.
AMSA will maintain the AtoN Network through nine (9) separate contracts (all to be tendered through AusTender), including regional essential maintenance contracts and a centralised technical support and logistics contract.
The scope of this AtoN Maintenance Services contract requires the Contractor to undertake planned essential preventative maintenance activities and to provide AtoN fault and failure response services.
A single Industry Briefing will be offered virtually (via Microsoft Teams) to all potential participants across the nine (9) ATMS associated with this overall project, including this ATM (24AMSA009).
The briefing will be held in March 2024 and Tenderers will be notified via and Addednum of the exact date, once comfirmed.
The briefing will provide Tenderers with an overview of the AtoN Network, the scope of work for the various contracts, and the level of support that will be provided by AMSA to successful contract holders.
The Tenderer must hold an Australian Company Number (ACN) and/or an Australian Business Number (ABN) or an Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN);
The tenderer either:
• holds a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record by the closing time; or

• the tenderer holds a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record for any first tier subcontractor that it proposes, as part of its response, to engage to deliver goods or services with an estimated value of over $4 million (GST inclusive).
Note to tenderers: Tenderers should apply for a Statement of Tax Record and should ensure that their subcontractors apply for a Statement of Tax Record within sufficient time to meet these conditions for participation.
This Contract will commence from 1 July 2024, for a term of two (2) years with a one (1) year extension option.
