Education program for parliamentary staff on safe and respectful workplaces.
The Review of the Parliamentary Workplace: Responding to Serious Incidents has been completed and a consultation copy report released. The review proposed a new framework for dealing with serious incidents. The three key areas are a trauma informed support system, an independent complaints mechanism and a face-to-face tailored workplace education program.
We now seek a suitable organisation(s) to deliver the training to promote a safe and respectful workplace to Parliamentarians and their staff.
Any changes to the Requirement as a result of the consultation copy report being finalised will be notified via addendum.
An industry briefing will be held at a date, time and location (which may include virtually through Microsoft Teams) to be confirmed in an addendum.
The industry briefing will include a presentation on the training materials to be used in providing the services, which will not otherwise be provided until the successful Supplier(s) is engaged. As such, although attendance at the industry briefing is not mandatory, it will be beneficial when preparing responses to this approach to market.
