Partnering with the ATO for internal training and assessment of the Certificate IV in Government Investigations
The ATO will create ATO centric content mapped to the PSP40416 - Certificate IV in Government investigations and partner with a Supplier that is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) who will:
• ensure all content (self-paced, facilitated workshops, scenarios, and assessments) meet PSP40416 requirements.
• assess the delivery of the training, provide oversight of the assessment of participants and ATO trainers to ensure the content and trainers are RTO compliant and meeting national competency standards during the pilot.
• issue the qualifications to up to approximately 60 staff (30 Pilot Program & 30 Expanded Program) who successfully complete the internally delivered Certificate IV program.
• retain all participant information and assessment material to meet the requirements of ASQA for the PSP40416 - Certificate IV in Government investigations.

The ATO will exclude from participation any Potential Supplier that does not demonstrate compliance with:
• being a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
• having the status of ‘current’ in the national register of vocational education and training (VET) at training.gov.au.
• having Certificate IV in Government Investigations (PSP40416) in their Scope of Registration to the extent of ‘Deliver and assess’.
