Request for Tender for the New Specialist Disability Employment Program

The Department of Social Services (the Department) has released the Request for Tender for the New Specialist Disability Employment Program 2025-2030 (RFT).
As part of the 2024-25 Budget, the Australian Government announced several Disability Employment Reforms which included implementing the New Specialist Disability Employment Program (NSDEP) from 1 July 2025. The NSDEP will focus on assisting people with disability, injury, or health condition to prepare for, secure and maintain sustainable employment in the open employment market. The NSDEP will put Participants at the centre of the service and Employers as key partners.
The draft Deed for the new program is also available to assist potential Respondents in developing their response.
The Department will hold an Industry briefing through a webinar on Friday 11 October 2024 from 10.30am - 12pm Canberra time. Services will start on 1 July 2025 for an initial period of five years to 30 June 2030, with an option of up to a two year extension.
