The Directorate of Honours and Awards (DH&A) within the Department of Defence is responsible for timely and appropriate recognition of service by members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), the veteran community and Defence employees of the Australian Public Service (APS).
DH&A currently issues, on average, 30,000 medals and awards each year, many of which must be engraved prior to dispatch.

Potential Suppliers wishing to respond to this procurement will be required to fully comply with and meet the following conditions for participation:
Clause 2.4 Preparation and Transmission of Classified Tenders;
Clause 3.4 Essential Requirements.
(3.4.1) Confirmation of tenderer having the appropriate software and capability to receive and action electronic files (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Email, PDF, WinZip), as listed under Clause 2, Appendix 1 of the draft SOW.
(3.4.2) Samples of engraving are to be lodged via post/courier/hand to the address specified under clause 2.7.6, and must be received by Defence on or before the specified Closing Time.
