Planned Procurement Notice - ESTz063 Garden Island Defence Precinct (GIDP) – Design Services Consultants

This is a pre-release notice only to provide advance notification that the Department of Defence anticipates that it will commence two multi-stage, open tender processes for two Design Services Consultants via the Design Services Contract (DSC-1) for the ESTz063 Garden Island Defence Precinct (GIDP) Program.
It is anticipated that the first Invitation to Register Interest (ITR) will be released in Q4 2024.
GIDP is a vital operational and support base for the Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN) contribution to Defence Outcomes. The Program is a critical estate sustainment project that aims to sustain the GIDP facilities and infrastructure necessary to support RAN to the required level of capability.
The DSC-1 procurement strategy for the Program involves a two stage procurement of two separate DSC-1s.
The Program will have a single DSC-1 for all works at the GIDP main site, and a second DSC-1 for all works at the Chowder Bay Defence Fuel Installation.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate their capacity to carry out specialist design of large-scale facilities and infrastructure as part of their ITR response.
