Strategic Procurement Outlook

The National Drought and North Queensland Flood Response and Recovery Agency (NDNQFRRA) works hand-in-hand with communities, all levels of government, charities and agricultural organisations to support farmers and other rural and regional Australians living through the immediate and longer-term effects of drought and flood.

Procurement processes in NDNQFRRA are conducted in accordance with the principles of value for money, fairness and transparency, and are in compliance with the various policies and legislation that regulate Commonwealth procurement, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs). All open approaches to the market will be advertised on AusTender. All request documentation for open approaches to the market will be available electronically from AusTender when the approach to the market is released. When published all planned procurement which may be open for Multi Agency Access will be identified as such.

The Annual Procurement Plan will be updated to maintain currency as the year progresses. At that time, the information provided will be for planning purposes only and will not represent a solicitation or constitute a request for proposal, nor will it commit the department to purchase the described goods or services. Once published, planned procurements may be subject to revision or cancellation.

Each Planned Procurement must have a UNSPSC Category.  To locate Planned Procurements published in a specific UNSPSC category, select the category from the list.

Annual Procurement Plan View – Planned Procurement Status

To locate Planned Procurements with a specific status, use the drop down menu to select the status.

Each Planned Procurement has a status.  The status reflects where the Planned Procurement is in the planning or procurement lifecycle.  Planned Procurement statuses are: 

As published – unchanged since originally published

Amended – has been amended since published

To Market – converted to an ATM and has gone to the market

Withdrawn – has been withdrawn from the APP

Cancelled – has been cancelled by AusTender system administrators.  Cancelled Planned Procurements are removed from public view but are still visible to APP Publishers.
