Strategic Procurement Outlook
The Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM) is the leading maritime museum in Australia with a unique collection of some 135,000 items relating to Australia’s extensive maritime history.
The ANMM is a Commonwealth statutory authority within the Department of Communications and the Arts. The Museum was established pursuant to the Australian National Maritime Museum Act 1990 and operates out of premises at 2 Murray Street, Darling Harbour NSW.
The ANMM’s vision as described within its Strategic Plan is “to be a world leader in maritime heritage – engaging communities and increasing their appreciation of the importance of the oceans, seas and rivers to our past, present and future..” The fundamental objectives of the Strategic Plan are to:
