ABS adheres to the principles of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, through the Accountable Authority Instructions and supporting department guidelines, when considering and undertaking procurement.
The aim of this Procurement Plan (PP) is to draw suppliers’ early attention to potential procurement opportunities. The anticipated procurements described in this PP are expected to have an approach to market within the next 12 months. and will be updated to maintain currency as the year progresses.
ABS uses established arrangements (both exclusive and non-exclusive as well as panel arrangements) for a wide range of goods and/or services. Procurements through these arrangements are not included in the PP. Request documentation for all open approaches to the market will be advertised and available electronically through AusTender when the ABS converts the PP to an Approach to Market (ATM).
