Information about Planned Procurements is provided for planning purposes only and it does not represent a solicitation or constitute a request for proposal, nor is it a commitment by the Government to purchase the described property or services.

Strategic Procurement Outlook

IPEA's purpose is to provide advice to parliamentarians and their staff on travel and travel-related work expenses to support them in their respective roles, and independent oversight of the work expenses accessed by current and former parliamentarians and their staff through auditing and reporting functions. 

IPEA intends to approach the market via open tender processes where it is practicable. We also will use whole of government and open panel arrangements where they will provide value for money to the Commonwealth.

Each Planned Procurement must have a UNSPSC Category.  To locate Planned Procurements published in a specific UNSPSC category, select the category from the list.

To select multiple categories, hold down CTRL on your keyboard.

Annual Procurement Plan View – Planned Procurement Status

To locate Planned Procurements with a specific status, use the drop down menu to select the status.

Each Planned Procurement has a status.  The status reflects where the Planned Procurement is in the planning or procurement lifecycle.  Planned Procurement statuses are: 

As published – unchanged since originally published

Amended – has been amended since published

To Market – converted to an ATM and has gone to the market

Withdrawn – has been withdrawn from the APP

Cancelled – has been cancelled by AusTender system administrators.  Cancelled Planned Procurements are removed from public view but are still visible to APP Publishers.
