Strategic Procurement Outlook
The Office of the Inspector-General of Taxation and Taxation Ombudsman (IGTO):
* assists taxpayers address complaints about the administrative actions of the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and Tax Practitioners Board (TPB); and
* seeks to improve the administration of the tax system for the benefit of all taxpayers by undertaking broader reviews and making recommendations to the ATO and to the Government.
The agency has a memorandum of understanding/service level agreement in place with the Treasury for the provision of corporate services, including support regarding the IGT's procurement obligations.
