Strategic Procurement Outlook

The Australian Office of Financial Management (AOFM) is a specialist agency within the Treasury portfolio, responsible for all operational aspects of Australian Government debt management, including financial and operational risk management, administration, and financial reporting of the Government's portfolio of debt securities and associated assets.

To meet the Government's procurement objectives, the Agency applies the Commonwealth Procurement Rules when considering and undertaking procurement. The Rules are applied to AOFM's activities through policies and procedures.

Each Planned Procurement must have a UNSPSC Category.  To locate Planned Procurements published in a specific UNSPSC category, select the category from the list.

To select multiple categories, hold down CTRL on your keyboard.

Annual Procurement Plan View – Planned Procurement Status

To locate Planned Procurements with a specific status, use the drop down menu to select the status.

Each Planned Procurement has a status.  The status reflects where the Planned Procurement is in the planning or procurement lifecycle.  Planned Procurement statuses are: 

As published – unchanged since originally published

Amended – has been amended since published

To Market – converted to an ATM and has gone to the market

Withdrawn – has been withdrawn from the APP

Cancelled – has been cancelled by AusTender system administrators.  Cancelled Planned Procurements are removed from public view but are still visible to APP Publishers.
