Strategic Procurement Outlook

IP Australia is responsible for administering Australia’s Intellectual Property (IP) rights system — specifically trademarks, patents, designs and plant breeder’s rights — as well as regulating the IP attorney profession.

IP Australia's purpose is to ensure that Australians benefit from great ideas. We are committed to delivering world leading IP services that are modern, effective, and efficient, and we achieve this by administering the registrable IP rights system, regulating the IP attorney profession, promoting public awareness and industry engagement, and advising the Government.

The Annual Procurement Plan is a forecast of expected procurement opportunities for the next 12 months, with the aim of increasing industry's advance knowledge of IP Australia's requirements.

The procurements described in this plan are expectations only, based on the best information available at the time of publication and are subject to change.
