The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) is an independent statutory agency.

The AIHW produces authoritative and accessible information and statistics to inform and support better policy and service delivery decisions, leading to better health and wellbeing for all Australians. As a Commonwealth Integrating Authority the AIHW safely links data on a range of topics, offering new insights on how Australians interact with the health and welfare systems.

Procurements will be undertaken in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules. The AIHW publishes open approaches to market on AusTender and makes available for download from AusTender all request documentation.   

This Annual Procurement Plan provides potential suppliers with an indication of likely procurements in the coming financial year to give them advance knowledge of supply requirements.

Each Planned Procurement must have a UNSPSC Category.  To locate Planned Procurements published in a specific UNSPSC category, select the category from the list.

To select multiple categories, hold down CTRL on your keyboard.

Annual Procurement Plan View – Planned Procurement Status

To locate Planned Procurements with a specific status, use the drop down menu to select the status.

Each Planned Procurement has a status.  The status reflects where the Planned Procurement is in the planning or procurement lifecycle.  Planned Procurement statuses are: 

As published – unchanged since originally published

Amended – has been amended since published

To Market – converted to an ATM and has gone to the market

Withdrawn – has been withdrawn from the APP

Cancelled – has been cancelled by AusTender system administrators.  Cancelled Planned Procurements are removed from public view but are still visible to APP Publishers.
