Strategic Procurement Outlook
The Productivity Commission is the Australian Government's independent research and advisory body on a range of economic, social and environmental issues affecting the welfare of Australians.
The Commission's relatively small size (approximately 177 staff in 2 locations) and the nature of its work means the Commission has limited opportunities to undertake significant procurement activities. To meet the Government's procurement objectives, including achieving value for money, the Commission applies principles and policies contained in the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
This Annual Procurement Plan (APP) provides potential suppliers with an indication of likely procurements in the coming financial year, and will be reviewed and updated throughout the year.
