Request for Tender for the Provision of Information and Communications (ICT) Services.
The Department intends to enter into an outcomes-based contract with a service provider for the provision of the ICT infrastructure and support services to the Department and certain Health Portfolio Agencies.
The Department is seeking the provision of fully managed services that includes everything necessary to deliver the ICT Services to meet the Outcomes as stated in the RFT.
The service provider will have flexibility to determine how best to provide and perform the ICT Services to achieve the Outcomes, subject to meeting some key requirements specified in the RFT such as Australian Government security and policy requirements.
This RFT was previously advertised under Health/044/1314.
The Department will be conducting an Industry Briefing in Canberra on 11 June 2014.
Details of the briefing, including how to register, are included in the RFT.
Attendance at the Industry Briefing is not a condition for responding to the RFT.
The Conditions for Participation in addition to the Department's standard requirements are:
Tenderers must have an Australian Industry Participation Plan which has been approved by the Department of Industry.
Expected commencement date of 1 April 2015
Term of contract 5 years plus options up to an additional 5 years
