The provision of support services through the national Australian Apprenticeship Support Network

The Department is introducing new arrangements for the delivery of support services through the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network. From 1 July 2015, all Australian Apprentices and their employers will come under network servicing arrangements. The new arrangements aim to:
(i) simplify and improve user access to and engagement with the Australian Apprenticeships system by establishing Network Providers as hubs for the delivery of quality end-to-end advice and support services to Australia's apprentices and their employers
(ii) improve apprenticeship completion and satisfaction rates through the provision of new services designed to deliver integrated, targeted support to apprentices and employers prior to commencement and while they are in-training
(iii) provide services to assist individuals to find the right VET or employment pathway for them
(iv) reduce red tape and the administrative burden on providers, stakeholders and system users, particularly employers.
The tenderer and any Subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
The tenderer and any Subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The timeframe for delivery is 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2018.
