The Objective of the Project is to construct a national High Performance Computing (HPC) facility comprising a peak HPC capability that meets the needs of both the radio astronomy research community and high-end researchers in other areas of computational science. CSIRO has identified that the facility can be constructed on a Greenfield site adjacent to the CSIRO facility at Kensington, WA.
CSIRO seeks to engage a Project Manager to manage the building and services infrastructure planning, design development, procurement and construction phases of the Pawsey Centre, under the direction of CSIRO.
The tender submission must address and incorporate all requirements detailed in the Project Management Brief and outline the risks, opportunities and requirements for the effective and efficient delivery of the building, services and infrastructure component of the Pawsey High Performance Computing Centre for SKA Science . The Project Management Brief is in four parts: Part A: Provides project background information and outlines the scope. Part B: Special consultancy conditions, performance and quality standards. Part C: Tender Documents. Part D: Outlines PWC Requirements (for Information).
