Legal services for information technology contracts and related documentation
The Bank's objectives in appointing one firm for the Specific Category A work and a panel of providers for each of General Category A work and Category B work are: · ensuring high quality consistent advice to support critical parts of the Bank’s operations, which involves frequent and rapid change both from a commercial and legal perspective; · facilitating efficient engagement of providers of legal services for each Category; · ensuring delivery of legal advice in a timely manner; and · accessing expert advice on IT contracting and the particular issues and risks that need to be addressed in relation to various types of product and service, (subject to confidentiality obligations owed to other clients) accessing up-to-date knowledge of market practices and obtaining access to qualified foreign lawyers.
