The National Gallery of Australia has issued this RFT to enable selection of a professional supplier of high quality, value for money cleaning services for our Gallery and associated facilities. The NGA is seeking the delivery of a high quality service to ensure the Gallery maintains its position of one of the nations leading tourist attractions and to achieve an environment were the National Collection is proud to be displayed. The period of the proposed contract is four years with extension options available. The services include cleaning of both the main Gallery building and our external storage facility. The services required include cleaning of all public galleries, office areas and staff working areas. The services include the provision of full time supervisory staff, day cleaners and provision of cleaning staff out of business hours to complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning of the highest quality.
To respond to this ATM, prospective tenderers must execute a Deed of Confidentiality prior to NGA providing security sensitive information. This Deed is to be returned by 12pm on 31 July 2019 to the Designated Contact Officer. On receipt of this signed Deed, NGA will provide additional information further describing the services and an invitation to attend the mandatory industry briefing and site visits. It is a condition of participation that the prospective tenderers must have attended both the industry briefing and the scheduled site visit.
The industry briefing is to be held on 1 August 2019, with site visits scheduled for 1 and 2 August 2019. Potential tenderers are requested to read Parts 1 and 2 of the ATM documentation for other mandatory requirements, minimum content and form requirements and conditions of participation that are to be met.
Deadline for Submission of Tenderer Enquiries for this ATM is 2pm, Canberra time, 21 August 2019, and the ATM will close at 2pm Canberra time, 28 August 2019.
As stated above the proposed period of the contract is an initial period of four (4) years, with two extension options of two (2) years and one (1) year respectively. It is anticipated that the selected supplier will be provided with a period of transition before commencement of service delivery. It is expected that service delivery will commence on 7 November 2019 with transition commencing on or about 7 October 2019.
The Conditions for Participation for this ATM are detailed in Part 2 Conditions of Tender. Prospective tenderers are to ensure that they can comply with these conditions of participation and demonstrate that compliance in their response.
It should be noted that Part Tenders and Joint tenders will not be considered.
It is anticipated that service delivery will commence on or about 7 November 2019 for the initial period of four years, with a transition period of one calendar month commencing on or about 7 October 2019 until 7 November 2019, to enable implementation of the contract before the proposed commencement of service delivery.
