Pacific Maritime Security Program - Pacific Maritime Support Coordinator
This is a pre-release notice only to provide advance notification that the Department of Defence anticipates that it will commence a multi-stage procurement for the provision of a Pacific Maritime Support Coordinator as part of the Pacific Maritime Security Program.
The procurement will commence with an open Request for Proposal which is expected to be released in early 2025, followed by a limited Request for Tender. The initial term of any resultant contract is anticipated to be five (5) years with options for extensions based on performance.
Any timeframes are indicative only and subject to change.
The Pacific Maritime Support Coordinator will support Pacific Island Country owned maritime assets including Guardian Class Patrol Boats, Landing Craft and other small supplementary craft, Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBS), other maritime assets and associated support equipment.

Defence will hold an industry information session, which will provide further details and background on the upcoming procurement. The information session will be held on Tuesday 10 December 2024 in Brisbane Australia. Further information on the location and timing will be provided following your registration of interest to participate. For those who are unable to attend in person a virtual option will be available.
