RFI Joint 8190 Deployable Bulk Fuel Distribution (DBFD).
Request for Information in relation to project JOINT 8190 - Deployable Bulk Fuel Distribution (DBFD). JOINT 8190 seeks to provide the
Australian Defence Force (ADF) with a modern, integrated DBFD capability. The capability will enable the distribution, storage and supply of bulk amounts of fuel in order to support deployed joint force and
Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.
Fuel is vital to the conduct of all ADF operations and its 'raise, train and sustain' activities. The current deployable capability has obsolescence issues which are increasingly impacting materiel availability.
JOINT 8190 will address this issue and provide a modern, integrated and sustainable capability.
Please note that the information being sought by this RFI has been identified by Defence as important for planning purposes, and to inform Defence decision making, in relation to JOINT 8190. Defence wishes to ensure that this planning and decision making occurs with the full benefit of information provided by your organisation.
An industry brief is planned to be held at the Seasons Botanic Gardens Hotel, 348 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC Australia, 3004, on 07 Feb from 1000 to 1300.
The Commonwealth does not intend to conduct any one on one sessions with industry.
Nominations for no more than 2 attendees per company are to be made to the Contact Officer listed at 2.4.1 no later than 30 Jan 2020.
