Land555 Ph6 Force Level Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence and Vehicles (Facilities), Borneo Barracks (HC-1 2003)
The Works identified include the following four (4) Work Elements:
1. Vehicle Workshop:
Expand and renovate an existing workshop office and vehicle workshop facility, new build 12 vehicle maintenance bay workshop space and associated storage, infrastructure and parking / hardstand area.
2. Storage Facilities:
New storage facilities for 26 Protected Mobility Vehicles Medium (PMV-M) and new storage facilities for 6 general maintenance vehicles, including covered lockable storage bays, hardstand area, complete equipment schedule storage cages and associated services.
3. Remediation:
Remediation / demolition of existing workshop facilities on base.
4. Road Infrastructure upgrade:
Road infrastructure upgrade through provision of an automated access gate and a weighbridge facility to manage requirements of operating heavy vehicles.
The extent to which the Applicant has demonstrated that it comprehends key issues and will implement appropriate solutions and management strategies in performing the contractor's activities, achieving completion of the works and otherwise meeting its obligations under the contract if it is the successful tenderer, including in respect of the following particular concerns:
a) demonstrate working in a live environment, appropriate staging and minimising disruption to the occupants of the facility while carrying out the works; and
b) site management, environmental management, work health and safety, quality, ecologically sustainable development (ESD), whole of life (WOL) and commissioning and handover.
