Training in the use of the AED must be included/provided (either in person or online) to each AED Recipient.

Appropriate signage and documentation containing sufficient information to enable Recipients to make full use of the AED must be provided to Recipients at the same time that the AED is provided.

The Supplier will be responsible for the storage of the AEDs until they are provided to Recipients, and for the delivery and supply of the AEDs to Recipients.

Each Recipient must sign an agreement on or before receipt of the AED. A template agreement will be provided by the Department to the Supplier. It is the responsibility of the Supplier to ensure that the agreement is signed on or before delivery of the AED to the Recipient. The Supplier must return signed agreements to the Department in the timeframe and the format required by the Department (e.g. original sent by mail and a scanned copy sent by email).

The Supplier will be required to report to the Department on their progress in supply and distribution of AEDs, on a fortnightly basis by email.

A full list of Recipients eligible to receive AEDs under this procurement and their physical addresses will be provided by the Department to the Supplier, but the Supplier must be able to distribute to a range of locations in all states and territories.

Potential Suppliers can request a list of locations by postcode, by signing the attached Deed of Confidentiality and emailing it to the Customer Contact Officer at the address specified at A.A.5 in the Statement of Requirement.
