Request for Tender for arrangements for the production, transport and storage of Low Aromatic Fuel
The NIAA seeks to procure only the following ongoing Services:
- the production of Low Aromatic Fuel;
- the transport of Low Aromatic Fuel from the site of production to bulk storage facilities in Australia;
- the storage of Low Aromatic Fuel at bulk storage facilities; and
- the provision of expert technical support.
The Low Aromatic Fuel produced must meet the definition of Low Aromatic Fuel in the Low Aromatic Fuel Act 2013 (Cth) (it must contain less than 5 per cent aromatics), meet the Australian Fuel Quality Standards for ULP and any relevant state and territory regulations. The fuel must be demonstrated to be suitable for use in any engine that would otherwise use ULP, including but not limited to cars, generators, boat motors and other small motors.
