Defence's Joint Data Network comprises of technologies sourced from the United States via Foreign Military Sales. These technologies are subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This means that in response to any future approach to market for JP9347 P1, tenderers will need to satisfy Defence of their ability to access, handle and store ITAR-controlled data, hardware and software via appropriate Technical Assistance Agreements or other authorised mechanisms. Any tenderer not able to satisfy this criteria will not be considered for future procurement activities.

Description:

This is a notification to industry that the Commonwealth is releasing a communication detailing future industry engagement activities on JP9347 P1. This release includes the opportunity for industry to review the draft Function and Performance Specification (FPS) for the Joint Interface Control System - subject to signature of a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
